I called my local batteries plus store #178 Florence SC. I was looking for a key fob for a 2012 Ram 2500. I went online and if I ordered online I would get a promo discount so I called the store and they said they didn't know anything about a promo and I would have to order in store and not get promo. You need friendlier people in that store

Complaint for store 207

I took in my cell phone (Black Samsung S21 Ultra) on 04Nov21 To Batteries + Bulbs (4105 Dowlen Rd Unit J, Beaumont, TX 77706) to have the front cracked screen replaced. They stated that they did have one available in stock.

I dropped off my phone towards the end of the day.

When I returned to pick it up there were issues with the warranty not working with their system because it was only authorized to do the front screen and this cell's screens comes integrated with the side bezel or frame. I basically paid out of my pocket to get the phone fixed and waited for the repair. Once it was completed and handed to me, to my surprise it was replaced with a different part number or color (silver) instead of original black color.

I went in on 11Nov21 to have my original parts or screen restored since they stated that they could not order the original black part needed. When I returned to pick up my phone "another surprise" they said that they did not have my original battery because they had sent it out to be destroyed because it could blow up.......which me being a tech guy didn't make sense and they said that there was nothing they could do.

I asked them to remove the batterie from the silver case they had just switched and put it in my phone and they said they couldn't because it was all one piece which is a lie. They basically didn't want to loose money by giving me a new batterie and of course make money by probably selling my original battery to someone else.

I went in to another shop the same day and had my cracked screen fixed and purchased another battery for my phone since they are separate parts and can be replaced.

I called the shop today 12Nov21 to see about being reimbursed for my battery since it was still a new battery and they didn't return my phone to the original state of when I took it to them. The manager now said that he would look for my battery and put it in my phone which it is not acceptable now since I already paid for another battery from the other shop and they would not accept returns which is understandable.

If he would of stated to me that they had to look for my battery, I would of waited but they lied and said that the battery was sent out to be destroyed because it was dangerous. I wasn't born yesterday, I've been doing pc repairs for over 30 years and dangerous is when I was in the military working with 120mm rounds for our tanks........that is dangerous, not a freaking cell phone battery.

So now I'm looking on how to file a complaint because they do not want to refund the cost of the battery they kept.

None the owners are very competent and professional you might get a young man at store but you have to know what they o pop at attention to is if you do your maintenance to your vehicles and other there they will do the best they can to try to warranty your purchase if its there ability Best Francesco

I'd like to comment on one of your employees. His name is Dawan @ store # 132, 206 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449. I've always sluffed it off but I finally decided it was time I reported him. He has an awful attitude. He is black and I am white. I've not noticed how he treats other blacks. I even asked one of the white employees about him and I got the same response. This guy Dawan should not be interacting with the public. I'm always skiddish about going in the store for fear I'll get him for help.

Trying to give me a year old battery for a warranty exchange and the district manager approved the "unethical practice "give me a battery from last year when they should have gave me a battery with 6/21 for Warranty their shoddy and borderline being fraud passing off other batteries that are Not New to other customers for warranty calls are taking a business loss!!!????? Poor customer service. And cheating customers

I purchasdoed this battery on 2/5/2019 from Batteries Plus. I had had problems with it not keeping a charge, but because of the extreme cold weather and not getting out because of the cold weather, I attributed it to that.

Well a week ago it would not start. I took it my car repair place. They told me the battery was no good and noted that it was still under warrenty. I told them I would take it back to Batteries Plus to get it taken care of.

On the bill it shows "full warrenty until 2/5/2022. Well that's not the case. I needed to take my car up their they would take it out of the car and test it for up to 48 hours to check the voltage. If it was below a certain voltage the warrenty was null and void.

I have never heard of this. This was not specified on their receipt. I discussed this with them but got no where.

I will not be buying a duracell car bathere again nor ever setting foot in Batteries Plus. Also the battery was a 2018 battery son it was already a year old.

Batteries Plus - I called regarding no people in the store during operational hours today.
I went to their store near miami lakes Florida. I needed to buy soke batteries for my camera. When I got there the lights were on, and it look like it was open. Since it was 4 hours before the posted closing time, I expected that they would be open. To my amazement they were actually closed. The only way I could determine that was they had attached a very small note on the glass of the story. When I discovered that I checked the internet to confirm what time they should have closed. I wa very surprised to find that they actually stated that they were still open. That why I basically call to complain about that.

Bonita Springs FL store will not honor my battery warranty

I bought 4 AGM 12V batteries for my Motorhome at a cost upwards of $1000 in July of 2016.

At that time, the manager cited all the Benifits for purchasing these expensive batteries and for giving me a 60 month full replacement warranty.

Story short and now that they need replaced, the present manager Chad has came up with every excuse possible for not honoring this written agreement and for basically saying that this past manager didn't know what he was doing by giving me that warranty.

He then gave me his District Manager's email address of marc.pfister@***.com and I've yet to hear back from him. In fact, I don't expect to, which again doesn't look well for your company.

As you well know, this wouldn't fly in any court of law and I would expect a company of your size to make this good.

After all, it's not worth all the bad publicity that will be forthcoming and considering what you spend on advertising alone. I do hope this can be resolved before taking any further action.

Went to store to get a battery for my dell notebook and they said they would have to order the battery, no problem because they promised they would call by tuesday of the next. Tuesday of the next week comes and no call, so before the store closed I called. they said it had not come in by their delivery truck. So I waited until Friday and then called again. This time the man that answered gave me a flip answer that the delivery truck had not been there and I asked how often the truck made deliveries. The man, who said he was a manager, gave me a run around answerbe delivered. Manager

I purchased this battery on 11/1/19 for my bike. It worked at first but then lost its charge and would not start the bike when away on a ride. I had the bike evaluated and it is not the problem; the problem repeated itself afterwards. i took this battery back twice and they would not replace it. It eventually went out of warranty.
