I bought a deep cycle last june from batteries plus. The battery had a year warrenty june 2016.

Well the battery is not holding charge. I took to batteries plus in easley sc and the guy said i would have to leave the battery overnight for charging and testing. So i left it. Next day i went to and he told me that the battery was good.

Knowing he was lying. I took the battery to oreilly for testing. I left with oreilly for a few hours. They call and confirm that the battery is bad.

I called batteries plus back and he said well we test natteries differant than oreilly. REALLY? lol...i thougjt that was funny. I guess batteries plus dont load test batteries.

What idiots...So needless to say, batteties plus dont wanna hold to there warrenty.

I will never do buisness there again.. .

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

If they push one customer away , they will do it all the time. This made me go elsewhere.

I am having the same run around here in Everett WA.

3 month old Duracel would not start the Harley when I wanted to go home from Sturgis. Had to unpack and jump start.

Got home and wouldn't hold a charge overnight. Took it in and they said they have to hold it 24hrs. and test.

I think I know where this is going. I'll report back tomorrow.

By the way, Im guessing you must be one of there trained professionals? Lol. ***.

You don't use a load test to determine deep cycle battery performance you ***. O'Reillys knows jack about batteries.

Lol..obviously you dont know jack bout batteries. Thats the only way to test any battery to see if it holds a load or not..same way batteries plus supose to do.

They the ones that dont know jack about batteries. Even im not that ***.

Its obvious enough when a battery wont hold charge. Common sense.

Well lol first of all deep cycle batteries are used for reserved capacity...second a load tells you the sae or cca. NOT it's capacity. Nice try, bud.

The reply is correct. A load test is for -starting- batteries. You test a deep cycle battery by testing its capacity which is not the purpose of a load test.

Exactly. You do not use a load test on a deep cycle battery. You test the capacity and how much is there against the rated capacity and total voltage at full charge.

Thats why im guessing you idiots work for batteries plus. Thats the reason i have a bad battety that wont get replaced.

I guess yall think a trolling motor dont put a load on a battery. Well it does.

When you turn the motor on and the battety dies, that means thats the battery will not hold a load. Guess yall need a little more training on batteries.

No, it means you have another issue and it isn't the battery and you refused to accept that and figure out what the real problem is genius.

No i do not have another issue moran.. the new battery i bought ftom oreilly works fine.

So yes the dam batteties plus battery is certainly bad.

So you people that work for batteries plus need to go learn about batteries before you make yourselves look anymore ignorant. Especially learn how to test one..
